With more than 20 years of experience as a technology executive, Brian has built a career around creating, scaling, and leading disruptive cybersecurity companies—both organically and through strategic acquisitions—while operating on the core principles of scale and durability.

Before joining CyberMaxx, Brian served as Chairman and CEO of Threat Stack, where he led the company through a period of significant growth and transformation, culminating in its successful acquisition by F5 in October 2021. Earlier in his career, Brian founded Industrial Defender and served as its CEO, scaling the business into a market leader before guiding the company through its acquisition by Lockheed Martin in April 2014. Across these roles, he developed a proven track record of building resilient organizations designed for long-term value creation in complex, high-stakes markets.

Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Brian held senior management positions at Invensys and Simulation Sciences, Inc., where he drove global business development initiatives, including a two-year expatriate assignment in Saudi Arabia. These experiences shaped his global perspective and disciplined approach to operational growth.

Brian holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont and brings deep operational, technical, and strategic expertise to his role as CEO.
